The 1st Thing I Ever Smithed

This was the first thing I ever smithed a left handed steak turner! This was the spark that lead to my fire of ornamental iron prowess. Although I've been a metal worker my entire adult career, I had never till this day, tried blacksmithing. I was fortunate enough to have a boss who is a blacksmith and invited me out to give it a try. One look, was all it took! I've been consumed since then to further my abilities and experiment with my creativity. Thanks be to God for allowing me this priveledge.

I can smell the aroma of a coal fire, hear the ring of the anvil, feel the warmth of the hot iron in my hand and see something taking shape and ah......the taste of having purpose in life. Something for all the senses!
