Caleb's First Forge Project

I had a curious young fellow stop by the shop this weekend.....my son Caleb. He with curiousity watched what I was working on and asked "what can I do?". So I covered the basics of dealing with hot metal and general forge safety, got him a pair of safety glasses, and a 12 ounce ball peen, then turned him loose. Now I admit, I did assist him just a little, but he still did alright for an 8 year old!
