EVEN MORE DOOR PHOTO'S

I'm guessing that I'll have to keep posting pictures of this door until I get some feedback. No seriously, I'd like to know what yall think, so please leave a comment. This is just a closeup of the copper rose door pull.

Hi Mark, Thanks for coming by my blog. I didn't know any other blacksmiths or metalsmiths were blogging and posting pictures.

Beautiful door! How thick is is the copper for the rose? When I see it in comparison to the steel, I want to see the copper a little thicker at the edges.

Knitsteel. Yeah I've been searching for other metal working blogs as well and I'm happy to see more and more of them. Thanks for your compliments..the copper is 16 ounce stock.

Beautiful door. You're a very creative person! I came across this picture while doing research for my neighbor, who is trying to put together a beautiful, creative deck with balusters that are original. As in long vines with leaves that can be soldered to metal balusters. Not much out there. There are trellises at Smith and Hawkins that can be turned into horizontal deck railing (to be attached to conventional balusters.

Anyway, my complements to all those out there like you who can be creative with metal!
    Andrea
